That's so awesome! I love the patterning. My first thought when I saw the picture was C. fasciatum.

Thanks Mike ! the species from Venezuela looks even more like C.fasciatum(solid pink carapace)
Here is my C.fasciatum I bought 17yrs or more ago that died a couple months back


and an adult female C.elegans I used to have

Both beautiful. Lori has a couple of tiny C. fasciatum at the moment. Smile

Thanks Mike! Hopefully they will live many many years!
Mine might be a different species than what is going around now,mine are from Costa Rica(now closed)(Actual C.fasciatum now D.fasciata) and the ones now I think come from Honduras and dig burrows,mine never did,she lived in,on,and around the turtle shell.

I'm not a spider person (I like them, but not sure how much I would want some, maybe once I have a huge area for inverts) but the petstore I've gotten my scorps at had a gorgeous tarantula that looked like your C. Fasiatum... tiger something... such amazing coloring that I almost bought it! Nice pics you got there, very nice specimens aswell.
