A couple of months ago I posted an operculum pic asking if it was male or female

I was told it was most likely a male but just now my wife noticed a scorpling in the tank. So I took all of my stuff out of the tank and slowly started digging to find 14 babies in there. They look like 2nd instar and super cute. I had to separate them from the adults and have all of them in a communal tank. I will go buy some pinheads on Monday.

What should I use to take the scorpling skins off the moms back?

dont disturb em if the baby is still on the back
momma's gonna get pissed and eat the baby


i think u should just leave the skins there..
it'll fall off eventually

The old exos on the mother's back should fall off eventually, but that didn't happen with mine.
About 7 months after she gave birth, I just carefully used tweezers to get as much of it off as possible.

Ill try and post better pics when I get a chance and yes they already left the mothers back. Thats why I had to dig to find them. Man is she aggressive! I would hate to be pinched She put deep dents in a bamboo skewer. She is extremely fast. Way faster than I have ever seen her move before.

They really are so cute. They run super fast and cling to my skin good.

I want to start breeding and raising scorpions just for the fun of it. I might go looking for another gravid female
