| i just bought a digital thermometer/hygrometer made by zilla. I'm looking for people who u the same one and can tell me how to set the min/max temp/humid on it... and y it doesn't seem to be reading the humidity at all. the display just says --% for the humidity reading. please someone help! also if anyone can tell me how accurate this model is. I've seen a few people say, in other forums, the most hygrometers are junk. so should i return this one n get my money back or is it worth having?  |

| I don't know anything about making your model work, but digital meters are supposed to be pretty good. It's those crappy analog models you see at Petco that are junk. Just be sure to place the probe near the ground, where the humidity matters (it's usually drier higher up).

| Hmmm if you got this from a store, shouldnt it have some kinda of instruction manual coming with it??

yes it came with instructions... but theyre not very good instructions... they tell how to clear the max/min but not how to set them... it was a question about caring for my scorpion. didnt know where else to post it... |

But you got this thingie, to control the humdity in the tank right?? well it cant do that, it just shows you how much % and C/F there is inside your tank, it cant control it in anyway.. _________________ |

no no no... i didnt think that at all... what i did think is that i could set the min/max so that the alarm would sound if they dipped below or went above ... i realize now that even that was incorrect... i got it all figured out on... thanks -Chris |
