| I tried to mate my Nebo hierichonticus yesterday. female:  male:  mating:     Unfortunately I could not find a spermatophore. But I will surely try to mate them again soon. | great pictures. hopefully the mating was a success and you just couldnt find the evidence that they had "mated fully"
But she is certainly and seems to be receptive to mating |

| Hi all, thanks for the comments. I will try to mate them again this weekend and then watch the whole mating. I'm pretty sure no spermatophore was produced by the male in the first attempt. I blacklighted the whole mating arena and found nothing. But it could also mean that the female is already gravid. Hi,
the male comes from a different location than the female. There is great variation in size and color in this species in Israel.
The picture you are reffering to was taken under blacklight. All scorpions glow, try it out  |
