| I know they are supposed to be spirits or something. I was taking pictures of my cricket colony and one of the pictures had this big orb in the middle of the picture. Is this just the flash playing of a particle of dust or what? |

| an orb?
Well an orb could be just some dust that the flash...basically flashed off. Or an Orb is a ball of energy caused by spirits...like the build up of energy in trying to "form"

| In your case, Athlon, I'm guessing it's the first. It happened all the time with my dad's old camera that didn't have a lens cover (so dust could easily get on the lens and appear as a big transparent circle.

| Accordint to Robert, most "orbs" are not spirits at all just malfunctions with the camera, dust particles, ect. I think only 1/10 (if i remember right) are ever actually spirits. |
